From the Little Mermaid to the Brandenburg Gate. Bicycle tourism in Europe

From August 2 to 10, 2014

La Copenhagen to Berlin bike route unites two fantastic capitals. Abike tour of just over 600 kilometers, of which about 260 kilometers are through Denmark. It is part of the Eurovelo Route 7 that extends from the North Cape to Malta.

From Copenhagen it borders the coast of the Baltic Sea. From Gedser a ferry will cross to Rostock in Germany to reach Berlin by pedal.

The Danish section is very special and runs along the East coast. A flat landscape where cereal fields are outlined against a sea in the background. Bike paths with hardly any unevenness and some small roads with very few cars offer a delicious cycling route. A unique architecture that combines traditional thatched roof architecture with modern buildings.

Once in Germany, the itinerary runs through several natural parks, we will find continuous lakes along the route ideal for taking a dip from time to time.
