FROM JULY 21 TO 28. The Danube River as it passes through Germany. From the sources of the Danube to the World Heritage city of Regensburg. A delightful journey that allows us to see how the river grows and how the culture developed in its wake.
FROM JULY 27 TO AUGUST 4. The Danube River as it passes through Germany and Austria. From the World Heritage city of Regensburg to Imperial Vienna. A delight of a tour that includes essentials such as Passau, Schlögen, Linz, Melk, the Wachau Valley and ends in a wonderful Vienna.
FROM AUGUST 3 TO 11.We continue pedaling along the Danube River. In one week, three countries and three capitals; Austria, Slovakia and Hungary, with their three capitals, fantastic cities to visit: Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest. A route next to the Danube that heads towards the most eastern Europe.
FROM AUGUST 10 TO 18. From Budapest we will continue cycling through Hungary until we reach the border where the river divides Croatia from Serbia, we are entering the Balkans. We will pass through Novi Sad, one of the most important cities in Serbia, before arriving in Belgrade. We are on the line that connected East and West for centuries, an inexhaustible source of conflict, but also of cultural exchange.
FROM AUGUST 17 TO 25. From Belgrade we will continue cycling through Serbia towards the border with Romania. There we will find the place where the Danube crosses the Carpathians and marks the divide with the Balkans. This place is popularly known as "The Iron Gates". With the Djerdap National Park we leave Serbia to enter the Porțile de Fier Natural Park, the large natural park in southwestern Romania. There is no shortage of elements of interest in this stretch of the Danube that competes with the Austrian Wachau Valley as the most attractive of the entire Danube River.
FROM AUGUST 24 TO SEPTEMBER 1.We will spend the week crossing the border between Romania and Bulgaria. The cherry on top of this week's trip, but really of the entire trip, is the mouth of the Danube. A fabulous delta, spectacular. Declared a Biosphere Reserve for its natural wealth, a biodiversity that makes this area one of the most important natural areas in this part of Europe. Without a doubt, an end of our unforgettable bike trip.
