Week 3. From August 3 to 11

Vienna-Bratislava-Budapest

"The Danube is the origin of a Europe, of the meeting along the river of great currents that can help us conceive an existence above national identities". The words of Skinny They praise this "river-road" link and border between so many peoples throughout history.

This new stage of the Danube by bike offers a flat route, very close to the river and without any type of technical or physical difficulty. From Vienna, one of the most dazzling capitals in Europe and after passing through Bratislava we will arrive at Budapest. A tour through Austria, Slovakia and Hungary, three capitals in a week of bicycle travel.

We start in Vienna. We can only tell you one thing, if you have not come to Vienna before, reserve some day to visit the city, it is very worth it. Our trip spends two nights here to enjoy this fantastic city. The three capitals that we are going to visit were part of the border of the Roman Empire, populated since ancient times, the banks of the Danube hold many surprises. We loved arriving in Budapest and the city is wonderful, well worth another day if you can stay.

Our route is part of the euroveil 6, that we will pedal this summer also on the section that runs through the Castles of the Loire River in France.
