FROM MAY 13 TO 15. In the west of our country, where the Duero serves as the border between Spain and Portugal, we find the Arribes de Duero Natural Park that extends through the provinces of Zamora and Salamanca. This protected space continues on the Portuguese shore where we find the Douro International Natural Park.
FROM APRIL 29 TO MAY 2. It is said that in Roman times a large oak guided travelers passing from Bierzo to the West. This reference alerts us to a magical forest that is located in the Galician region of Valdeorras (Enciña da Lastra). Very close to there are the Médulas.
FROM DECEMBER 8 TO 11. GRENADE. In the shadow of the Almijara and Guajares mountain ranges, the Verde River valley is known today for its subtropical climate that allows the cultivation of mangoes, avocados, custard apples, and kiwis and is an ideal setting for our hiking routes.
NOVEMBER BRIDGE. NAVARRE. From October 29 to November 1. A semi-desert landscape that impacts and surprises with each new visit. An unusual spectacle in the south of Navarra that, despite its bare and inhospitable appearance, hides great natural values that we can explore during our hiking routes.
MAY 14, 15 AND 16. The valleys of the Teverga, Quiros and Trubia rivers extend from the Cantabrian Mountains to the limits of the councils of Oviedo, sheltered between the impressive Aramo and Cordal de la Mesa mountain ranges. In this territory of extraordinary beauty there are several protected landscapes and natural monuments such as Pico Caldoveiro, the Xanas Gorge or Los Puertos de Marabio.
FROM APRIL 30 TO MAY 2. On the May 1st long weekend we are going to walk to Navarra, to the Sierras de Urbasa and Andía and the Nacedero del Urederra, a limestone landscape, covered with beech forests and a traditional area of sheep pastures that allow us to enjoy some fantastic cheeses .
As is tradition during Holy Week, we propose a Hiking Route in Portugal. Our destination: Mértola, in the heart of the Guadiana Vale Natural Park.
