HIKING THROUGH LAS MEDULAS, VALDEORRAS AND ENCIÑA DA LASTRA FROM APRIL 29 TO MAY 2

This  May Bridge we propose a hiking trip  the provinces of Ourense and León.

It is said that in Roman times a large oak guided travelers passing from Bierzo to the West. This reference alerts us to a magical forest that is located in the Galician region of Valdeorras (Enciña da Lastra). And there are plenty of forests: teixadales, oak groves, chestnut groves... Very close to Las Médulas, also classic because of the chestnut trees and above all because the gold nuggets rolled towards the mythical Sil River canyon. Wild and wooded landscapes all of them, what can we say about them? Oulego Penedos or the surprising shapes of the Val do Inferno.
A place of dark secrets for which we have chosen to sleep and eat in a very special place, the Hotel Monumento Pazo de Castro, a place that alone justifies our trip to Valdeorras.

And the towns, and the wine Designation of Origin…in short, we will have a good time.
