Within our bike tours Through the city of Madrid we continue looking in more detail at the nature of our city. This tour is focused on birds. Madrid, due to its location in the center of the Peninsula, is a transit and meeting place for much of our winged fauna and Manzanares is one of its main communication routes to move from one place to another. It is now, in the fall and winter, when we can observe more species of birds within the city itself. The cranes that go looking for the south and the acorns, seagulls that go up the Tagus from the Atlantic and many more species that always bring us surprises.

We will be able to see a good number of different species along our itinerary and we will get many surprises with some of the birds that we will be able to see.

Un bike tour interpretive that allows us to enjoy doing bicycle tourism for Madrid.

On today's route, moving by bicycle, we will travel through different sections of the Manzanares River in search of the birds that live in the river or use it as a place to rest or feed. In that company we will learn many things about the biology and phenology of these birds, that is, what time of year they arrive, when they leave, their life throughout the year.

We advise you to go with binoculars.
