Since October 1863, Atocha station and Príncipe Pío station have been linked by the Barojiana Contour Line or Circunvalación. This Line belonged to the Northern Company and a multitude of industries were installed in its surroundings that conditioned the landscape of the south of the capital for a century. In 1987 the last train left Peñuelas and since then the urban fever took over the area. Today we can still interpret what that Madrid was like through the signs that that time left us.
Let's see if we got it.
