December 28 - Madrid / Marrakech:

Departure from Madrid at 16.10:18.15 p.m. on a direct Iberia flight to Marrakech. Arrival at 3:XNUMX p.m. Assistance at the airport and transfer to a XNUMX*** hotel.

December 29 - Marrakech / Zagora. (MP)

During our transfer we enjoyed spectacular panoramas on our journey through the Atlas and later through the Great Draa Oasis with its ancient kasbahs. If time permits, we will visit the Kasar of Tamnnugalte on the way, an old caravanserai that housed caravans from Tombouctou loaded with gold and spices. We spent the night in a camp in the palm grove of Zagora, a mythical city at the true gateway to the desert. Night and dinner in camp.

December 30 - Zagora / Bono / Ras n´Khal - Trekking (PC)

We leave Zagora to visit on the way the underground kasbah of Tamegroute and its Islamic library Nassiria founded in 1575. A little further south we begin our trekking in the Kasar de Bono, one of the oldest on the trans-Saharan route to Timbuctu. We enter the Palmeral and cross the Kasar and oasis of Mhamid the old, the last town before the great desert. In the afternoon we tour the Ras en Khal, the end of the Draa palm grove between dunes and a decaying palm grove that announces goodbye to civilization. Night in camp.Journey: 10 km / 4,5 hours

December 31 - Ras n'Khal / Marabou Sidi Najib - Trekking (PC)

We begin the crossing of the desert now dominated by a large hammada with borjones. The Bani mountains stand out on the horizon, the bed of the Draa River appears from time to time between groves of tarai trees, the landscape becomes sandy until the tomb of the Marabou Sidi Najib next to an old fort on the route to Timbuktu. We spent the night in camp next to the sea of ​​dunes. Journey: 14 km. 4 hours.

January 1 - Marabou Sidi Najib / Erg Zhar - Trekking 19 km / 4,5 hours. (PC)

We walk next to the dunes that are getting bigger and bigger. We ascend to the great dune of Erg Zhar along a narrow ridge that dominates the entire region, which turns into incredible colors during the sunset over the immense sea of ​​dunes. Night in camp. Journey: 17 km / 5 hours.

January 2 - Erg Zhar / Ouarzazate (MP)

In 4x4 we take a spectacular route to Ouarzazate passing through the Chegaga dunes, Lake Iriki and the Antiatlas. Night and dinner at Hotel 2**

January 3 - Ouarzazate / Ait Ben Hadou / Kasbah of Telouete / Marrakech (AD)

We return to Marrakech crossing the Atlas through the true caravan pass, the Ounila valley where we find a spectacle of ancient kasbahs or caravanserais that housed the caravanners on the route to Tombouctou. We visited Ait Ben adou and the surprising kasbah of Teouete with its Pacha Gilawi palace. Arrival in Marrakech. Night and dinner in a 4**** hotel. Note: During winter, the Ounila route may be subject to snow or poor road conditions.

January 4 - Marrakech / Madrid (AD)

We visit on foot the city of Marrakech that begins at the Koutubia, the sister tower of the Giralda of Seville, Dar Zitoune street, the Dar Si Said palace, the Jemma el Fna Square, a living heritage of humanity and the souks and medina markets.
