Hiking trip through Baztán

We offer you new routes in the Bertiz consortium, a very special border area within the Baztan Pyrenees. And as in recent years, we have chosen the transversal theme of smuggling, as it has long been one of the fundamental occupations for many of the inhabitants of these mountains bordering France. The black market and its mischief determined what was produced, how it was traded and ultimately how the people lived in this region.

The delicious forests of the Baztán Valley through dreamlike trails and meadows, while we learn about the adventures of smugglers in a mountain area that has the incentive of its proximity to the sea.

Departure from	Appointment at 14.30:13 p.m. on Saturday, August XNUMX in the parking lot of the interpretation center of the Bertiz natural park (for those traveling by own transportation). If you opt for our transportation from Madrid, the meeting point is the usual one in Atocha at 8:00 a.m.
