The Ambroz Valley in the North of Extremadura offers us an incredible landscape for our hiking routes.
La Silver Route crosses the valley. The Vía de la Plata, linked the cities of Itálica (near Seville) with Augusta Emerita (Mérida), the Vía de la Plata had its extension in the north, to Gijón, through the Vía Carisa.
Without a doubt, the main attraction of the region is its forests, an excellent forest mass where oaks and especially chestnut trees stand out. There are also beautiful pastures of holm oak and cork oak. An ideal destination for nature tourism.
