LASEDE of COAM, Official College of Architects of Madrid, is a great space in the center of Madrid. It is located at 63 Hortaleza Street. Located on the site where the Pious Schools of San Antón were located until 1995, where Victor Hugo studied for a while. The church of san antón It has undergone a thorough restoration and remains next to the new headquarters of the College of Architects as a result of an agreement between the College of Architects and the City Council.
LASEDE offers itself as a living space, organizing many activities related to culture, art, society and architecture, exhibitions, screenings, courses and other events that take place on its four floors and in its different rooms.
It has more than 12.000 square meters with a central garden that, as they themselves say, “It is an urban oasis”. Many events are held here, my last visit was for a meeting organized by Germany tourism where we have been able to interview many tour operators from Germany and enjoy the space.
From its terraces there are very good views of the center of Madrid.
A abrazo.
