Bird watching in the Doñana National Park

Tomorrow we will participate in the SUSTAINABLE CITY LABORATORY, a meeting organized by the magazine Ciudad Sostenible, a partner of the project. MEST of ecotourism and sustainable tourism of the EU. The LABORATORY is an initiative that addresses in depth issues related to the city and sustainability and on this occasion the topic of debate is ecotourism and sustainable tourism. We participate in the panel experts in ecotourism andn this meeting that has the collaboration of the Spanish office of the European Commission.

Six European universities participate in the project and it is led by the Polytechnic University of Madrid. From Rutas Pangea we will contribute our experience in the sector since 1993 and the importance of the participation of all actors related to tourism, both in planning and in making decisions about the model they want to opt for. Especially important, for us, is to create spaces and moments so that the local population of tourist destinations can express their opinion and opinion about these projects, as a guarantee that we are creating responsible and sustainable tourism products. Training is undoubtedly one of the key tools to achieve a change to a more respectful and sustainable tourism model and this master's degree can contribute to that change.
