The route that Alfonso II the Chaste followed to visit the newly discovered tomb of the Apostle Santiago in the 9th century. Our itinerary proposal adjusts to the Path that Alfonso II traveled. From Oviedo, we will cross all the councils of western Asturias: Las Regueras, Grado, Salas, Tineo, Pola de Allande and Grandas de Salime. We will reach Lugo through Puerto del Acebo and connect with the French Way in Palas de Rei; Santiago and the Plaza del Obradoiro are very close.
