MAY 14, 15 AND 16. The valleys of the Teverga, Quiros and Trubia rivers extend from the Cantabrian Mountains to the limits of the councils of Oviedo, sheltered between the impressive Aramo and Cordal de la Mesa mountain ranges. In this territory of extraordinary beauty there are several protected landscapes and natural monuments such as Pico Caldoveiro, the Xanas Gorge or Los Puertos de Marabio.
The photos from our 2016 call for the Rutas Pangea photography contest are here, perhaps some are late, but here are the works that have been presented. Of course it will not be easy to choose the winning photos. Next Friday, February 26, we will be able to see a selection of the photos at the presentation party of the 2016 bicycle and hiking trip program and meet the winners.
FROM JULY 16 TO 24. A fantastic bike trip through the heart of Brittany. Our bike tour will take us through castles, monasteries and of course very symbolic places such as Mont Saint Michel.
FROM JULY 30 TO AUGUST 7. A mountain bike tour from Innsbruck to Bergamo (Austria, Switzerland, Italy) This summer a new bicycle trip through the Alps. Sixth transalpine route that we organize from Rutas Pangea. A mountain bike adventure through the mythical Alps.
FROM JULY 30 TO AUGUST 7. Romania is a close but very unknown country. An incredible setting for our bicycle trip through the Carpathians.
A selection of the photographs received will be exhibited at the location where the PRESENTATION PARTY of the “Pangea Routes 2017” program will be held on February 24, 2017.
One more year we continue with our video contest and there are now eight calls. With this contest we want to reward and spread the creativity in video art of people who take bicycle trips and hiking routes.
From May 14 to 16. San Isidro Bridge. The Senda del Oso, in Asturias is one of the most beautiful Green Routes in Spain, a fantastic and very easy bicycle trip between forests, rivers and mountains.
FROM APRIL 30 TO MAY 2. On the May 1st long weekend we are going to walk to Navarra, to the Sierras de Urbasa and Andía and the Nacedero del Urederra, a limestone landscape, covered with beech forests and a traditional area of sheep pastures that allow us to enjoy some fantastic cheeses .
As is tradition during Holy Week, we propose a Hiking Route in Portugal. Our destination: Mértola, in the heart of the Guadiana Vale Natural Park.
FITUR is over, one more year. This has been the 36th edition of the most important International Tourism Fair in our country, one of the most important in the European market and the most important, without a doubt, in the Spanish-speaking world. We leave you our personal assessment.
