XVIII PANGEA ROUTES DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

Yes saltPhoto_contest_2025Whether you're riding your bike in the mountains, along the riverbank or in your city park, you're sure to take photos too. This contest is just another excuse to share, have a good time, remember the time we spend enjoying our outdoor activities and capture those fleeting moments of happiness that invade us during the trip. At Rutas Pangea we have been encouraging and rewarding creativity in the difficult art of taking photos while we're on the road for years.

RULES OF THE XVIII COMPETITION OF DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY PANGEA ROUTES

1. Theme

The composition is completely free, and the theme of the photos must be related to travel and/or bike routes.

2. Participants

The contest is open to anyone over the age of 18.

3. Images

Each participant can submit a maximum of 3 photographs of which they must be the author or have the rights to the image.

4. Presentation

Photographs must be submitted in high digital quality in jpg or png format.

Each photograph must carry the information requested and be sent to the following email address:

5. Admission deadline

Until 15:00 p.m. on February 15, 2025.

6. Jury ruling

 The jury's decision, as well as the awards ceremony, will be made public coinciding with the Pangea 2025 Routes Travel Program Presentation Party on February 21, 2025.

7 Exposition

The submitted photos will become part of the Rutas Pangea photographic archive, with the intellectual property and authorship being recognised to the author. The works will be used both on Rutas Pangea's social networks and on its website, so participation in the competition entails the transfer of those rights.

The jury will select 25 works that will be exhibited at the venue The New Forklift where the presentation of the “Pangea 2025 Routes” program will be held

8 Awards

  • First Prize for the photography chosen by the jury: a trip for two people on the Holy Week or May Long Weekend bike route in 2025*.
  • Second prize for the photograph chosen by the jury: a trip for two people on a weekend bike route from the 2025 program.
  • Third prize for the photograph chosen by the jury: a choice between a place on a Rutas Pangea mechanics course or a Rutas Pangea jersey.

9. Acceptance of the bases

Participation in the contest implies acceptance of each and every one of the contest rules and the jury's final decision. The organization reserves the possibility of making appropriate modifications to these rules in order to favor the correct development of the contest.
