Finisterre treasures a large number of historical works of art that remind us that it is an area populated since the most remote past: megalithic complexes where Carnac stands out especially, Roman vestiges, Romanesque buildings, Gothic churches, a large number of sanctuaries, medieval castles, old alleys , mansions and a huge number of lighthouses that watch over the Iroise Sea, the border between the Atlantic Ocean and the English Sea. Its coast is also dotted with German bunkers from World War II and Napoleon III fortifications.
A trip to enjoy beautiful landscapes, picturesque towns, traditions associated with the sea, a sea that has marked the history of this region, without a doubt one of the great attractions of our route.
