DESCRIPTION

We propose you a hiking trip to get to know the Villuercas-Ibores-Jara Geopark. A large mountain massif, made up of some of the oldest mountains in the Iberian Peninsula, located in the southeast of the province of Cáceres, between the Tagus and Guadiana basins. A succession of mountains, valleys and ravines, lush vegetation that hides a multitude of treasures. And to the south, Guadalupe, with the Royal Monastery as an unmistakable symbol.

The climb to Pico Villuercas is one of the m proposals. Its summit is probably one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Estremadura.

As always on our routes, there will be no shortage of stops to savor the pleasures of Villuercas: unforgettable viewpoints, hidden trails, local producers and lots of culture and history to discover corners that are close to us, waiting for us.

Departure from	Appointment at the hotel at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19. If you opt for our transportation from Madrid, the meeting point is the usual one in Atocha at 8:00 a.m.
He came back	Sunday, March 21, end of the trip after lunch from the Hospedería del Real Monasterio de Guadalupe.
