Admire the Kaiserthermen (Emperor's Baths) and the Porta Nigra, historic buildings in the Roman city of Trier. By bike, you'll reach cities such as Bernkastel-Kues, Traben-Trarbach, Cochem, Neumagen-Dhron (the oldest wine-growing town in Germany), and Enkirch, a jewel of regional medieval Fachwerk (half-timbered house) architecture. Visit Eltz Castle and enjoy romantic views along the way. In the evening, enjoy regional delicacies in the restaurants. Don't forget to sample the art of local winegrowers.
