Description and itinerary

The Danube Cycle Path is perfect for leisure trips. The route is considered the most popular cycling route in Europe, due to its versatility and beautiful scenery.

On this three-country tour, Austria-Slovakia-Hungary, we cycled along cycle paths, along dikes and on quiet roads. There are some sections on roads with very short traffic. The route is signposted, although on the Slovak side it is sometimes difficult to find the signs… a bit of excitement while cycling!
