Fyn, the fairytale island, the romantic heart of Denmark

South of Funen lies the archipelago, with small, picturesque islands connected by ferry, offering cyclists a break and a unique experience. The landscape is inviting, with a good variety of flat stretches and gentle hills. Our tour begins in Odense, Denmark's third largest city, easily accessible by car and train. The tour visits Aeroe Island (Ærø), where cyclists will take the ferry from Faaborg to Søby (Soeby), cycle to Ærøskøbing (Aereskoebing), and then the ferry to Svendborg. An alternative to the ferries and a visit to Ærø is to cycle directly from Faaborg to Svendborg.
