It has all the attractions of any Camino de Santiago or any great itinerant journey, pedaling from hotel to hotel, with the clear objective of reaching the city of the Apostle, enjoying immersion in changing landscapes and contact with its countrymen. For those of you who live in Madrid, it is also the opportunity to do a great trip pedaling from home.
In the past, when a pilgrim left for Santiago de Compostela, he did so from the door of his house, wherever he was. That spirit is what we want to recover with our Camino de Santiago from Madrid by bicycle.
You will pedal from the city of Madrid, you will cross the Sierra del Guadarrama through the Fuenfría port; then, the plateau through the provinces of Segovia, Valladolid and León through the Tierra de Pinares, the Montes Torozos and Tierra de Campos, until joining the French Camino de Santiago in Sahagún.
