In the provinces of Coimbra and Leiria we find an inland sea of ​​mountains, those of Sicó, Lousá and Alçor. A broken territory, ideal for our MTB routes. In them, the genuine Portuguese rural flavor has been preserved in the territory of the black and red slates. Paths and towns that date back to the Middle Ages and that were almost depopulated in the 20th century, today they strive to open their way again through traditional uses. And as a base camp, Coimbra, one of the historic cities of Portugal, will offer us its nights of university accent and venues where we can listen to live fado, as a finishing touch to our bike travel.
