This bicycle tourism proposal wants to show you those markets. Today some of those markets are still alive and new very interesting proposals have also emerged, such as the Casa de Campo market or the Mercado de las Ranas. On this bicycle tour we will go from the old markets to the new ones, discovering little-known corners of the city but always full of history.
Within our bike excursions through the city of Madrid we continue looking in more detail at the nature of our city. This tour is focused on birds. Madrid, due to its location in the center of the Peninsula, is a transit and meeting place for much of our winged fauna and Manzanares is one of its main communication routes to move from one place to another. It is now, in the fall and winter, when we can observe more species of birds within the city itself. The cranes that go looking for the south and the acorns, seagulls that go up the Tagus from the Atlantic and many more species that always bring us surprises.
Within our bike excursions through the city of Madrid we begin a new cycle looking in more detail at the nature of our city. In this new route we will focus on the flora, especially on the arrival from outside that tells us about different eras and in some cases about how knowledge of the world expanded and the taste for exotic species that became acclimatized in Madrid.

In this itinerary we are going to interpret some places where the battle of Madrid took place, focusing on the area of the Manzanares River because it is the most pleasant to be traveled by bicycle and where some of the most relevant events of the battle in Madrid took place. .
