This week's contents at Viajando Despacos have prepared several different topics. We were lucky enough to meet in Madrid with Maty Amaya, an Argentine cyclist who has been pedaling for 5 years and who shared a good time chatting with us. We also received a visit from Josetxo from A Bird Without a Nest. He had us very worried about his health, after a complication of malaria. They have had to stop their trip through Africa and have returned to Spain, he and Gorka. His story has motivated us to return to a book that we had read and that we wanted to tell you. Kazimierz Nowak who toured Africa between 1931 and 1936. How his work came to us is already a story in itself, just like that of Kapuscinski, which we can now know a little better thanks to a film that we can see in cinemas in Spain, One more day alive. The book is titled “On foot and by bicycle through the black continent”, published by Ediciones del Viento.
