Madrid It was the main objective of the rebels since the beginning of the uprising, in July 36. It was the seat of government and also the most populated city. Therefore, it was no coincidence that in November of that year some of the bloodiest days of that war were experienced in our city.
In this itinerary we are going to interpret some places where the battle took place, focusing on the area of the Manzanares River as it is the most pleasant to travel by bicycle and where some of the most relevant events of the battle in Madrid took place.
