We are living in strange days, a month of March that more than announcing spring seems to announce summer, and of course, above all the coronavirus, COVID19 that has come to change everything, at least for the moment.

March arrived with an explosion of events, talks, presentations related to the bike, a Cycling Culture agenda packed. Now everything has stopped, cancellations, changes of dates, uncertainties that we don't know when they will be cleared up. The same thing has happened to us with our trips, a difficult decision and where perhaps more forceful and clear decisions from the administration were lacking in the previous weeks.

Travel will return, we don't know if in a few days or a few weeks, or maybe even a few months, but there are many people offering free options so that we can better cope with staying at home without being able to enjoy the things we like, the bike, the hiking, the mountains, the outdoors, our beloved Nature.

We are going to compile some suggestions here to cope with the confinement at home and we ask for your help to expand them and improve the list, as I am sure there is much more. Soon we will also publish a new list of cycling readings, for now you can review here a selection which is still totally valid.

We start at home, of course, here you can listen to all our programs Traveling SlowlyLooking back, it seems incredible to us that we have reached program 175, talking about bike trips, with cycle travelers who have traveled all over the world and with stories where the protagonists are bicycles. Traveling Slowly is broadcast on Travel Radio, where you can find programs to satisfy your travel curiosity beyond any quarantine.

And speaking of stories and bike trips, we have to thank Juan Sisto y Alvaro Sanz, that they now offer us openly, their magnificent documentary Northern HorizonIf you haven't seen it, it's your chance. You will thank us, well, better Juan and Alvaro.

More stories, many more you can find in another gift that Eneko gives us from Route Books, have decided to make the digital downloads of the 4 volumes of their El Afilador collection FREE. You can find them in the section ebooks from your website.

A real crack like Kilian Jornet offers movies Summits of My Life free one week. Of course, afterwards you will have to resist the urge to run to the nearest mountain.

Hearst Magazine Spain publishes many different magazines and offers free access to its March issues, one of the magazines it publishes is Travel, a good recommendation for traveling from the sofa at home.

As if all this were not enough, on YouTube there are countless super interesting proposals, we leave you some and we look forward to your recommendations: Pablo Bikecanine, bikepacker de Javier Bañón Izu, Alone on a Bike by Crsitina Spinola, the videos of the route for Food Sovereignty of Connecting Rod and Ground, Living by Albert Sans, I love it. And to continue enjoying, Iohan Georgiev.

Altair joins the initiative of offering open content and does so with a map that invites you to dream.

Sprint a magazine that we love, which mixes cycling·culture·journalism, also offers free content, they have decided to offer the last two issues of VOLATA free of charge through its app for mobile phones and tablets.

Deep Cycling It also offers free download of “Contador, the legend of the Gunslinger” a Collector's Edition about the life of the only Spanish cyclist to win the Vuelta, Giro and Tour.

And another gift, this one from Julián García Marcos, Julk, give away in PDF “A caiman in Serranillos” a tribute to the cyclists who made him love this sport. Tweet him and get the book.

And you, who do you recommend to ease our wait?

Greetings, traveler (although for the moment without leaving home)
