Las Hurdes are located in the north of Cáceres, on the border with Salamanca, on the southern slope of the Central System. A rugged landscape, with a challenging orography crisscrossed by five rivers: Ladrillar, Los Ángeles, Hurdano, Malvedillo, Ovejuela and Esperabán, which originate in its heights and give life to fertile valleys.
