BIKE TRIP THROUGH GUINEA BISSAU FROM JANUARY 12 TO 27

Maybe you have to look for it on the map or maybe not, but what we do guarantee is that you are facing a different trip. we are going to tour Guinea-Bissau cycling, for us the country of souls. Located in West Africa, so close (Bissau is, in a straight line, closer to Madrid than Moscow) and at the same time, so far away.

An Fascinating experience of Black Africa, of primary forests and people with smiles that brighten your day. A small country that hides many secrets that are waiting for you. The best time of year to enjoy hippos, chimpanzees and a mild climate for cycling.

trip with the bicycleWe invite you to discover a destination far from the traditional tourist circuits and we do it in a very special way, with a luxury guide for an unforgettable trip, Alvaro Neil @Bicyclown. A unique opportunity to participate in a cycloexpedition accompanied by Álvaro, who traveled the world by bicycle for 13 years.

The tour begins in Bissau, the capital from where we will pedal to the depths of the tropical forest, in the Cantanhez forests. En el Cantanhez National Park, we will walk before dawn to try to observe the chimpanzees in its natural habitat.

To finish our itinerary, we will leave the continent to head by boat to a paradise on earth’s most emblematic landmarks, the Bijago archipelago, Orango National Park in which we can enjoy a few days of pure ecotourism, surrounded by nature and observing the hippos in a unique ecosystem since although they live part of the year in the freshwater lagoons in the interior of the island, the rest of the year is spent among the channels in the sea.

These last days we will be staying in the Orango Parque Hotel, an initiative that we love for its commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism.
