Following in the footsteps of Bishop Godesalco, we will leave the French Massif Central towards the Pyrenean barrier. They say he was the first foreigner to seek the way to Santiago, in the 10th century, along with his endless entourage, according to the time. From Languedoc we will make our way along the Upper Loire towards the West, with the waters of the Garonne and the Landes on the horizon, where we will end, in the region of Aquitaine, at the point where the main French roads converge, in the populous town of Pau. . A path that was used by Swiss and German pilgrims from Geneva and that today, converted into a World Heritage Site, offers us the possibility of seeing the wooded landscapes of the Massif Central, the green meadows of the Pyrenean region and of course the impressive legacy medieval historic centres, churches, abbeys and Romanesque bridges.
