El ABC Building It is located between Calle Serrano number 61 and Paseo de la Castellana number 34. We should actually say that they are two buildings, one with a facade facing Serrano, designed by Jose Lopez Sallaberry in 1899 in neo-plateresque style and the extension of the building that faces the Paseo de la Castellana designed by the architect Hannibal Gonzalez, with a façade in the Sevillian regionalist style and Theodore of Anasagasti 1926 the year.
In 1891, Torcuato Luca from Tena creates the magazine Blanco y Negro. It needs a building to establish its circulation. Shortly afterwards, on August 20, 1896, it acquires the Serrano site on which it will build the new building, the place that will be the permanent headquarters of the magazine's circulation.
Today, the two buildings have been converted into a shopping centre and are a delight to the senses.
A abrazo.
