PROGRAM
| OBJECTIVE | At the end of the course we will be able to independently identify the footprints and traces of the most common species in the center of the Peninsula. |
| METHODOLOGY |
We combine theory and practice, promoting self-learning and prior knowledge of the participants. The course is divided into two parts, a theoretical part with the following program: Tracing as an ancestral skill: history of origin and current applications Indications of animal presence I: the trail and the footprint Practical part: We will learn in situ how to find traces, identify them, take plaster molds and exercises to consolidate self-learning. |
| MATERIAL | You can go with your hands in your pockets, although it is ideal to bring a notebook. |
| LOCATION | El Molar is a town located north of Madrid. In its municipal area we find mountains, countryside and plains, which together with its location between the Jarama and Guadalix rivers It offers us a varied territory, with different ecosystems, a variety of fauna and with areas very conducive to finding footprints and traces. |
