Cycling Talks. The vision of women.
We open our windows to discover new realities associated with the world of bicycles.
We embarked on a cycle of three talks with women to learn about the cycling experience with a gender perspective. We try to cover all types of cycling and different cultures.
Ten women, ten life experiences.
Urban cyclists promoting active transportation and spreading the desire to move freely around the city. Inspiring cycle travelers, great adventurers, who have traveled the world on the back of their bicycles. Cycle activists, promoters of new mobility policies. All transmitting passion and desire for freedom.
We bring you three different proposals, but very related to each other.
Wednesday, May 20 at 18:30 p.m.: Urban cycling and bike schools
In the first session, we will chat with three women very involved in the cycling development of the city of Madrid.
- Henar Salas and Carol Dávila work, from the Madrid Ciclista association, to preserve and expand the rights of cyclists in Madrid by promoting urban cycling as a means of transportation on an equal footing with other means.
- Isis Más is a bicycle route guide and instructor in urban cycling and active transportation and is part of the working group of the Bicycle Mayor's Office of Madrid.
Wednesday, May 27 at 18:30 p.m.: Cicloviajeras
In the second, three long-distance cycle tours.
Blanca, Iria and Ana. Three perspectives to answer common questions. Those that every woman traveling alone receives. How does each one face that recognition? of brave women.
- Ana Zamorano.
- Iria Prendes.
- Blanca Fernandez.
Wednesday, June 3 at 19:00 p.m.: Cyclists on the other side of the Atlantic
And we close the cycle, on World Bicycle Day, with the vision of our colleagues on the other side of the Atlantic. Activism, cycling, sport,… All pushing for more cyclists to circulate around the world.

- Jimena Pérez Marchetta (Salta, Argentina)
- Andrea María Navarrete Mogollón (Bogotá, Colombia)
- Sonia Medina (Mexico)
Moderated by Jezabel Ramírez Uña.
