Hiking along the Smugglers' Route
FROM AUGUST 15 TO 18. We return with new routes in Bertiz, this very special border area within the Pyrenees. And as in recent years, we have chosen the transversal theme of smuggling, as it has long been one of the fundamental occupations for many of the inhabitants of these mountains bordering France. The black market and its mischief determined what was produced, how it was traded and ultimately how the people lived in this region.
