BICIFOLK

Are you wondering what it is? Bicifolk? I'll give you the answer right now. It's a bicycle trip to the interior of the Iberian Peninsula, to find the roots of our culture and from there, if possible, to verify that traditional songs are alive and still linked to traditional trades, to the use of the land and of course, to rituals and leisure.

People who participate in Bicifolk take an itinerant bike trip, for a week, from town to town, inspired by the Pedagogical Missions, trying to give something of our part and also collecting knowledge from the places we visit.

What do we exchange?: attention, dancing and songs, in other words, joy.

In the last edition, Bicifolk has travelled through the lands of Cuenca and Teruel and, as always, it has been a success. The quality of the songs and the attention is beyond measure. The fuse continues to spread.

We want to share the experience with you, we invite you to join us for this presentation. We want to present it to you at this event, through a documentary, photos, videos and… songs.

If you feel like it, bring your tambourine and the desire to dance jota.

You know, at Rutas Pangea we love bikes, but there are many more things than bikes.
