L'AVENUE VERTE

From London to Paris by bicycle from July 28 to August 5, 2018

A delicious journey from London to Paris by bicycle, a route that allows you to join two great European capitals with a short boat trip to cross the English Channel and a lot of culture and history to explore. From St Pancras we will cycle through the city on the Thames before heading south to tour the English countryside. A super beautiful stretch, Le Cuckoo Trail brings us closer to the sea. Between Eastbourne and Newhaven, where we will take the ferry, we will enjoy the cliffs that flank the Channel.
The journey will take us to Dieppe, where a bloody battle was fought in World War II, a first landing carried out by Canadian troops in 2.
We continue pedaling, now through the French bocage: cider, calvados, cheeses... a gastronomy to enjoy. Our bicycles take us to France, the birthplace of Impressionism, we will travel along the small Epte and Oise rivers. Claude Monet lived and Van Gogh died in this region. And we are finishing the route along the wonderful Seine, in the company of our bikes we will reach St Denis, the place where the remains of the French kings lie, before finishing our bicycle route in Paris, the city of light. In Paris we finished our cycling holiday along L'Avenue Verte.
