Companies that organize trips and know the sector perfectly.
JUNE 25TH. To continue advancing in the professional development of the bicycle tourism sector we need to delve into several aspects: sustainability, mobility, impact and governance. These will be the axes of our session. Many challenges ahead at the beginning of a summer season that will be different from what we expected but that offers us an ideal destination for our cycling holidays.
JUNE 18TH. Eurovelo is a network of long-distance cycling routes that connect and unite the entire European continent. Seeing the Eurovelo map immediately leads us to dream of cycling holidays. The implementation and quality assurance of EuroVelo is coordinated by the European Cyclists' Federation (ECF) in collaboration with the EuroVelo Coordinators and Coordination Centers. In the case of Spain, the Coordination Center is integrated into ConBici, Coordinator in Defense of the Bicycle, which brings together associations and groups of cyclists from all over Spain. 3 of the Eurovelo routes run through Spain. The EV1, EV3 and EV8, we are going to chat with representatives of the three itineraries to find out their current situation, how they are coordinated and how they relate to the European network.
JUNE 11TH.It is the turn to learn about the success stories of our country. What places are managing to create authentic cycle tourism destinations and how they are doing it. The elements that have allowed the success of these initiatives are repeated in many of the proposals, but each project has its peculiarities.

After years of working on bicycle tourism proposals, it seems that there are key elements that are repeated: the importance of the routes, the network of itineraries, the existence of a managing entity that coordinates all the work and the participation of all the actors, the presence and active participation of local companies, the creation of tourism products and their marketing, the segmentation of the proposed offer, the effective communication of everything that is offered with the image and tone of communication appropriate to those defined segments.
MAY 28.This Thursday we are going to chat with those who make the routes, we are all clear that the route network is the basic axis of the cycling tourism proposals, also key aspects such as the need for maintenance, the importance of a route management entity that boosts the territory, that sets the tone of the communication of those routes, that chooses the recipients and the channels to reach them.
MAY 21.How do we choose the route we will take by bike? where do we look for information? Why do some routes work better than others? We will talk to several people who we will call "inspirators." Its role is key in promoting cycle tourism. We have chosen a varied team of experts to try to better understand the different profiles of recipients. Our goal is to talk about how to improve cycle tourism communication and reach broader audiences. We want to give the importance it deserves to all that previous information that makes us dream of a route, probably the source of inspiration that makes us get going. Many journeys start here. JUNE 3 WORLD BICYCLE DAY. And we close the cycle, on World Bicycle Day, with the vision of our colleagues on the other side of the Atlantic. On April 30, a few companies in the cycle tourism sector in Spain met to share our current situation and how to face the difficulties for the sector in the short and medium term.
